H researched guinea pig noises and is studying their body behavior so they can be as happy as possible. They are spending Thursday in Vs r00m to allow some bonding time. H is going to check out guinea pig bathing videos next!

H has been doing GREAT! Both get daily snuggles. Today H shared personal info! I'm so proud of how much she is maturing! She has a Sweet 16 coming up...

Pets Provide Practice 4 People
& H oozes love! It's very rewarding to see her find appropriate outlets for her affection.

H has watched youtube 4H videos about holding guinea pigs and explained that it's important that all four feet are supported.

H held both separately on her lap while we watched a bit of tv.

Stanley sounded like he made happy noises! They were very different from the 'I wanna go home' a bit later.

Kong seemed less bewildered and perhaps even comfortable on her lap this time.

H will bring the cage in for "smell-sitting" tomorrow so Rats and GPigs can sit in the same room and get to know each other's smells.

V discussed H's food problem trumps GPigs hygiene talk. H helped C bring in groceries and is making herself spaghetti. (V is on special pre-op diet.)

Monday (Yellow Talk)

H has told V & G about how Guinea Pigs need to consume hay, water, and pellets. We've seen both Stanley and Kong eat all three (and a carrot!).  Both have had time out of the cage after school sitting and watching tv w H.

Tomorrow will talk more about hygiene.
